Screen of television – The three primary colors of light

Have you ever seen the screen of television nearby? If you see a screen of television, it turns out that the screen of television is made by gathering many small points. And the small point has only the three primary colors of red and a green and blue light. The television has been made by combining the point of 3 colors. By adjustment of these trichromatic combination and brightness, various colors are made, and it gathers and is visible as an image.

Photoelectric conversion

Light is changed into an electrical signal in order to send the image which was taken with the camera. An image is changed into an electric signal in order to send as an electric wave. An electric wave is flown from the antenna of a television station. Processing which the picture which was taken with the television camera changes into electricity from the light which is called “photoelectric conversion” within a camera is performed. Photoelectric conversion is the processing which changes the information on all the colors of an image into an electrical signal. A camera can be called equipment which changes a photographic subject’s color into digital date. The light from a photographic subject is decomposed into 3 colors of red, green and blue, the strength of each light is changed into an electrical signal, and it records as digital date. It seems that the quantity of red, green and blue paint is made into a numerical value, and a note of it is made. On the other hand, television can be called equipment for returning to a color from digital date. Red, green and blue light are given off and mixed as date, and an original color is reproduce and shown. It is like mixing the paint of the quantity as the numerical value currently written on the memo.

Structure of an animation

It is the same structure as flip book that the picture of television moves. As for an animation, a still image is displayed continuously. The image of the television is projecting many pictures into short time, in order to show more smoothly than a flip book. The number – They are 30 sheets in 1 second. It becomes such a smooth animation that there are many images displayed in 1 second. A flip book is one of the afterimage phenomena. An afterimage phenomenon is a phenomenon where the visible image remains in eyes for a while and which is in sight.

Scanning line – An image is projected.

In order to project one picture on an ordinary cathode-ray tube television screen, a picture to project is cut thinly horizontally, and it arranges the one line at a time in an order from a top, and is made a picture. This line is called “scanning line.” If the number of the scanning lines increases, an image is projected more beautiful. On ordinary television, there are 525 scanning lines and there are 1125 scanning lines in high-definition television.
