Screen of television – The three primary colors of light

It seems that the quantity of red, green and blue paint is made into a numerical value, and a note of it is made. On the other hand, television can be called equipment for returning to a color from digital date. Red, green and blue light are given off and mixed as date, and an original color is reproduce and shown. It is like mixing the paint of the quantity as the numerical value currently written on the memo.

 

Structure of an animation

It is the same structure as flip book that the picture of television moves. As for an animation, a still image is displayed continuously. The image of the television is projecting many pictures into short time, in order to show more smoothly than a flip book. The number – They are 30 sheets in 1 second. It becomes such a smooth animation that there are many images displayed in 1 second. A flip book is one of the afterimage phenomena. An afterimage phenomenon is a phenomenon where the visible image remains in eyes for a while and which is in sight.

SONY is selling a liquid crystal television and a plasma television called a “BRAVIA." The prime model of SONY is a liquid crystal television. Sony fell by a halfway strategy which sold a liquid crystal television or plasma television. But, the new brand “BRAVIA” is started, and it unifies into a liquid crystal (Sony panel), and Sony is trying to aim at a comeback. Since concentration is contained, it seems to be a very good product. The latest, Sony products hear the grumble of the person who purchased the cellular phone and personal computer so that they may often break down. I would like to expect what has good quality in the field of the television set.

 

 

Comment

It turned out that the model of latest television is mainly two, a liquid crystal television and plasma television. However, only a little, a liquid crystal television is superior to a plasma television. I surely think that the television in my house is also a liquid crystal television. I think that (my image) a liquid crystal television is for family to watch news or variety, and a plasma television is for rich to watch movies. It is because the liquid crystal television is cheaper and the plasma television is more expensive. Since the image of a plasma television is very beautiful, plasma television is my yearning. I want to buy a plasma television some day and I wish to hold a movie appreciation meeting.

Cathode-ray tube television
 


The feature of a cathode-ray tube television is a low price. Compared with the thin shape television set of the same size also on television corresponding to digital Hi-Vision, price is about from half to one third. Old television was projecting the image on the screen called a “cathode-ray tube.” The display of a cathode-ray tube can be called in the abbreviation “CRT.” It is easy to watch screen of a cathode-ray tube compared with the liquid crystal television and plasma television which are displayed per dot. It is thin and light like a liquid crystal television, but compared with a liquid crystal display, tone is good, projects what moves in display, an afterimage cannot be remained easily, and it is easy to see from across. However, it also has bad points. Power consumption is large, it is heavy, the fan is attached and it is noisy, very expensive, to make a big screen has a limit (since surface glass is not allowed distortion with a plank). – It is pushed a little by a liquid crystal television. Since improvement of a liquid crystal television also followed and image quality became good just like plasma television, the advantage of plasma television was lost gradually. Since plasma television has the advantage that cost seldom becomes high even if it enlarges it, on large-size television, it is often used. However, in small television and display, plasma television is already produced hardly.

Development


The theme of this week is about the development of television sets. Main points are analog broadcasting, digital broadcasting and 3D television.

 

1.    Analog broadcasting

The feature is the television broadcasting by analog representation. A kind has “ground analog broadcasting” and “analog satellite broadcasting.”
Ground analog broadcasting is broadcast by the electric wave from a television tower etc. The black and white broadcast was started by the analog terrestrial wave from 1953. The color broadcast was started by the analog terrestrial wave from 1960. Analog broadcasting was ended in the whole country of Japan in 2012.
Analog satellite broadcasting has two kinds, BS analog broadcasting and CS analog broad casting. BS analog broadcasting is broadcast using a broadcasting satellite and CS analog broadcasting is broadcast using a communications satellite. The full-service broadcasting of BS analog broadcasting was started from 1989. NHK and WOWOW were broadcasting. CS analog broadcasting was started from1992. It almost changed to the digital now. BS analog broadcasting was ended in the whole country of Japan in 2012. A broadcast was started in major metropolitan areas (Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka) in December, 2003. Receivable area was expanded to the whole country of Japan.

 

2.    Digital broadcasting

The feature is the television broadcasting by digital representation. A kind had “group digital broadcasting” and “digital satellite broadcasting.”
Ground digital broadcasting is broadcast by electric wave from a television tower etc. Digital satellite broadcasting has three kind, BS digital broadcasting, CS digital broadcasting, and CS110° digital broadcasting. BS digital broadcasting is broadcast using a broadcasting satellite, CS digital broadcasting is broadcast using a communications satellite and CS110° digital broadcasting is broadcast using the communications satellite launched to east longitude of 110 degrees the same BS. BS digital broadcasting began from December, 2000. CS digital broadcasting was started in 1966. Sky perfect TV! etc. are broadcasting. CS110° digital broadcasting began from March, 2002. EZ by Sky Perfect! is broadcasting.

 

3.    3D television

3D television is the television which can see a three-dimensional image. However, when you watch 3D television, you have to ware exclusive glasses. An image looks three-dimensional when you wear exclusive glasses. 3D television will give people the further pleasure. However, I think that 3D television does not spread easily. It is because the price is high compared with ordinary television set and when saying whether it is required, it is not required. If here is 3D television, we will think that television can be enjoyed more, but it will be said that almost all persons are not troubled even if there is no 3D television.

 

4.    Comment

When it changed from the analog broadcasting to digital broadcasting, I thought the image of digital broadcasting is more beautiful than image of analog broadcasting. Moreover, I thought that digital broadcasting was broadcast later than analog broadcasting.
I am interested in 3D television. It is because it thinks it wonderful that an image looks three-dimensional. Is this illusion of eyes? A 3D image is very interesting. I would like to come to hold, when an image jumps out of display. I want 3D television in my house someday.

The theme of this week is about the spread of television sets.

 

The television sets was sold in 1954. Those days, the price of television sets was very high, which price was equal to the annual income of ordinary office worker of those days as 200,000 to 250,000 yen and since we could not buy it easily in an ordinary house, there were many houses without television sets. Therefore, neighboring people and relatives gathered in the house with television sets. The television sets gave people pleasure. When the television broadcasting started, people knew only the radio broadcast. Therefore, the television sets which can see not only sound but also the moving image gave people big pleasure.

 

The television sets was broadcast with a black and white image at first. The relay of the Crown Prince (the present Emperor) marriage parade is said to have become an opportunity of television set spread in 1954. The diffusion rate of the black and white television set exceeded 50 percent in 1961. A black and white television set cannot be considered from our present life. In our present life, it is because the color broadcast is natural.

 

The color broadcast started in around 1960. The color television set has spread in the three to four years. Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964 was also the big cause for a color television sets to spread. The color television set spread soon at many homes, and the diffusion rate of the black and white television sets declined. The diffusion rate of color television set exceeded 50 percent in 1972 and the diffusion rate of the black and white television set was less than 50 percent in 1975. There were two color television set in one of two houses in 1984.

 

The thin shape television set was sold soon. Before the thin shape television set was sold, almost all television sets were cathode-ray tube televisions. The cathode-ray tube television required depth behind the screen. Development of the new technology of “plasma” or “liquid crystal” was progressed, and the latest thin shape type television set appeared. According to the graph of color television diffusion rate of class of householder age, withdrawal of the cathode-ray tube television is progressing with all the households. Especially the younger age group is the increasing speed. But the spread of thin shape television set is going smoothly with all the households. Especially it was extended by people who aged 30 and over. And a tendency is seen aged 29 and below, cathode-ray tube television is withdrawn positively, it has seldom changed for thin shape television set (comparing with other generations).

 

When it sees in this way, it turns out that spread of television sets began from the black and white television set, and it has developed into the color television set. I think it very difficult to develop into a color image from black and white image. However, Japanese people have progressed even like this in ten of years. The further future development is pleasure.
